| چکیده | ||
| در دوران مدرن و پست‌مدرن، مفهوم امر والا دستخوش تحولی بنیادین شده است. اگرچه در گذشته امر والا با عظمت طبیعت یا قدرت‌های فراتر از انسان مرتبط بود، در عصر مدرن و پست‌مدرن هنر از تصور سنتی زیبایی جهان‌شمول فاصله گرفت و به تجربه‌های زیباشناختی نوینی روی آورد که شامل گرایش‌های مدرنیته و مفهوم «امر والا» بود. جنبش نور و فضا، نمونه‌ای برجسته‌از این رویکرد است. این جنبش بر تجربه ادراک نور و فضا تمرکز داشت و از هنرچیدمان در مقیاس های عظیم بهره گرفت تا احساس خلسه و رهایی مخاطب را فراهم آورد. این تجربه ها معادل مدرن و پست مدرن« امر والا» به شمار می‌آیند که به فراتر رفتن از قیدهای مادی و ایجاد ارتباط انتزاعی و حسی تاکید دارند. سوال پژوهش این است که چگونه مفهوم امر والا در آثار جیمز تورل و اولافور الیاسون به عنوان هنرمندان مدرن و پست‌مدرن تبلور می‌یابد و این آثار چگونه از لحاظ تجربه نور، فضا، و ادراک مخاطب به تفاسیر مدرن و پست‌مدرن از امر والا پاسخ می‌دهند؟ هدف از این پژوهش تحلیل مقایسه‌ای تجربه والایی در دو دوره مختلف با تأکید بر آثار هنرمندان نور و فضا است. این تحقیق از روش تحلیل محتوای کیفی استفاده می‌کند. مهم‌ترین یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که آثار تورل با خلق تجربه‌ای قائم به ذات و جسمانی از نور و فضا، بازتابی از امر والای مدرن ارائه می‌دهند که شور و کرختی را توأمان القا می‌کند. در مقابل، آثار الیاسون با بازنمایی مناظر تکنولوژیک و محصورکننده، تجربه‌ای پست‌مدرن را آشکار می‌سازند که بر ماهیت نمایشی و بازتولیدی تأکید دارد. این تفاوت‌ها بازتاب دهنده دو رویکرد متفاوت در بازآفرینی تجربه امر والا هستند. | ||

| Introduction: In the modern and postmodern eras, the concept of the sublime has undergone a fundamental transformation. While in the past, the sublime was associated with the grandeur of nature or forces beyond human control, in the modern and postmodern ages, art has distanced itself from the traditional notion of universal beauty and embraced new aesthetic experiences rooted in modernity and the concept of the "sublime." The Light and Space movement is a prominent example of this approach. This movement focused on the experience of perceiving light and space, utilizing large-scale installations to evoke a sense of transcendence and liberation in the audience. These experiences are considered the modern and postmodern equivalents of the "sublime," emphasizing transcendence of material constraints and fostering abstract and sensory connections. The research question asks how the concept of the sublime manifests in the works of James Turrell and Olafur Eliasson as modern and postmodern artists, and how these works, through the experiences of light, space, and audience perception, respond to modern and postmodern interpretations of the sublime. The aim of this study is to conduct a comparative analysis of the sublime experience across two different periods, focusing on the works of Light and Space artists. This research employs a qualitative content analysis methodology. The key findings reveal that Turrell's works, through creating an embodied and intrinsic experience of light and space, reflect the modern sublime, simultaneously evoking both awe and numbness. In contrast, Eliasson's works, with their representation of immersive technological landscapes, reveal a postmodern experience that emphasizes performative and reproductive qualities. These differences highlight two distinct approaches to reimagining the sublime experience. | ||
