Authentic recitation in the interpretive narrations of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and its connection with the narration of Hafs from Asim

Abstract
The “authentic reading of the Holy Qur’an”, in its common use, is the right way of pronouncing the letters and words of the Holy Qur’an, that is one of the most important and fundamental questions regarding the reading of the text of the Holy Qur’an. Shiite scholars have provided different views and solutions to answer this question. Based on a historical study of documents and evidences, especially narrations, this research attempts to achieve the authentic reading of Ahl al-Bayt (AS). Study of the historical evidence of narrations shows that the reading applied by Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in the interpretation is consistent with the reading known as “the narration of Hafs from ‘Āsim”, the same that is commonly used in the Muslim world.
